Beyond Hope on a gold trail

Following the 1800s gold rush trail makes a fantastically fascinating journey up the Fraser IMGP5143Canyon, east of Vancouver BC.

IMGP5099

Rich history, stunning scenery, and maybe a trace of gold dust!

Artifacts, early settler churches, all beside the steep-sided walls of the majestic swift Fraser River. History …Unfolding in the ‘once-goldbooming’ economic action centre of Yale BC…

IMGP5112

Hudson’s Bay fur traders and Paddlewheelers, dancehalls and dusty roads with stagecoaches, all leave lasting prints in the arid canyon. A land of contrasts: First Nations ancient cultures.IMGP5105

SONGS OF THE SEA 2016!

From loud crashing waves to gentlest evening waves, a repeated hush upon sandy shore. From peaceful murmurs, like miniature trumpets, of Barrow’s Goldeneye ducks, we love hanging out by the Pacific shores.NY DUSKcoming
